Every Wendy’s I have went I have never had a problem adding extra vanilla to my ice coffee rather it’s mobile order or in person. And have never paid extra. Especially Altoona or 63rd locations. And even if I had to I would. Not customer responsibility if system doesn’t give you an option on app or in store to charge you. I visited this location just serval days ago was able to but because this manager is new in her words and didn’t have a way to charge me for inventory purposes they rather lose a customer and a whole order. I order a combo not just a coffee . I went out of my way to come here before work there’s plenty of other fast food or coffee places. I will not return to this location. I visit Wendy just for ice coffee Because with with extra vanilla it’s sweet enough and doesn’t taste like coffee. I even said I would be willing pay extra outside app but no way to ring up or suggested to cancel order and just ring up order at restaurant but does not take Apple Pay like other Wendy’s. Now I do not enough time to go the other Wendy’s on SE 14th st. It’s sad they should rather lose a regular customer over extra vanilla. I am district manager myself in retail in past in Food & beverage industry and I know you don’t want to give out the farm but you find a happy medium. Hope she has a wonderful day because micro manage will eat your day away I’ve been there.

Inconsiderate, unprofessional, rudest drive thru employees. Do not visit at night. Drive thru girl should look into another line of work outside if customer service.

Order 2 meals I specifically asked for my meals to be mediums and I get smalls… I asked the guy that gave it to me if they were mediums and he said no my screen says small then shut the window on me no receipt nothing would not recommend this location

This place has slipped some with Covid. The employees are always friendly. However, the pandemic has them short-staffed and sometimes it's a long wait to get through the drive-through. Also sometimes they run out of certain items due to shipping shortages.

I just had the best experience ever at a fast food joint. The manager was so nice and helpful! Very refreshing!!!!

On too many occasions to count, they have messed up my order either by forgetting something or giving me the wrong food. The Wendy’s on sw 9th in Des Moines is a joke

Fast service. Although the parking lot was packed and there was a line of about ten people, I didn't wait more than five minutes to order and not even five minutes for my food to be ready. Great service and wonderful food

I hate complaining but this isn't the first time I have had these issues. The food is always burnt. The nuggets tasted like they've been sitting out for days. The fries were soggy and disgusting. Won't be going back.
