Dairy Queen (treat)

Love this ice cream shop as it's close to our house. I respectfully would suggest they open the dining room at least for people to walk in and order. The car line is in the street and obviously a little dangerous on a busy street like SW 9th. I love ice cream so I'm definitely willing to risk my life for a blizzard. But it'd be great if they could get more than one order going at a time so we can all enjoy our summer treats safer!

I ordered a cake with blue/green writing and LOTS of colors. The picture below is what I received. Two colors, off center, huge patch-job, mysterious hole, box with frosting smudged on several places on outside. I received horrible customer service when I went in to talk with the "manager" on duty a couple days later. I was told, "My boss said sorry but he can't do anything about it since you didn't bring it in right away." It was for a party--I didn't have time! The bad customer service continued as I asked for her boss's name and contact information. All she could give me was "Steve". She didn't know his last name. Didn't have an email. During this back and forth conversation, a teenage server tried to chime in and argue with me about the colors. I explained to her that Green + Purple does not equal Blue-Green or Lots of Colors. This back and forth with the two of them went on for about 5 minutes with no sort of resolution. I wasn't expecting to be compensated, but I was expecting some sort of validation that this cake should never have gone out. After the customer service I received, my family will not be going to this location in the future.

Terrible service and melted ice cream. We could see 4 girls inside supposedly working. One was eating and didn't wash her hands before filling orders. We waited patiently in a long line. When we got to the window two girls were standing there talking. One took our money and then handed us our nice warm melted bizzards, of course we couldn't tell that until we took off the lids but by that time we had pulled away. Never again.

I had never been to DQ before. I got a gift card there so we went. Hot dogs was our only option and shakes. I got an oreo shake that tasted like basically slightly sweetened milk. Not even sure if oreos were in there at all. And it was very melted and watery once I got it. Not thickened up at all. Won't be going back. Kids haven't been asking to go back either lol but maybe it was just the one we went to 🤷🏽‍♀️
