Tacos look great. They are larger than typical street tacos. Staff is very pleasant.
We ordered three different styles of their street tacos. Asada, chicken and one called the Gringo. Of the three the Gringo was the best but overall the tacos themselves are disgusting. Meat is dry and bland. The taco shells have no flavor and fall apart or split down the middle. The kimchi is overpowering and mostly tastes of vinegar.
The salsas are decent. Both the red salsa and salsa verde had a good flavor.
I can not recommend eating here and would not go back. But as I said the staff are welcoming and pleasant. The presentation and aesthetics of the food and building are done well. It is just that at least the tacos we tried were not good.

The Greatest Taco Shop On Earth. Best (or second best) spot for legit Vegan eats in central Iowa, great staff, inventive food, home made corn tortillas, and in a great neighborhood. It's a favorite.

Holy moley, seems like everyone here is happy to talk to anyone and I have never seen anything like their Red Curry Chicken (or tofu) Burrito which for me is enough reason to visit and spoil myself for lunch. If you get it wrap style its a bit easier to eat in a 30min lunch; as in stead of smothering it in the hand made sauce that they normally do, they put it inside so you can pick it up and smash.

Fun place for strange tacos. Parking can be a pain and the place looks a little disorganized, but it's supposed to have a young feel so it works. Couldn't count how many times I heard staff saying weird stuff or telling each other to shut up. You'll love it or hate it I guess? I actually preferred tasty taco to this place...

My first visit I wasn't overly impressed but then I had the red curry chicken burrito. Oh man that was good! My wife had the chicken bacon ranch burritos. She seemed to enjoy that as well.

What this downtown location lacks in in ambiance, it mote than makes up for in the taste and freshness of its food. The combinations of food put together in a taco or burrito to make a spectacularly delicious meal. Many vegan options as well.

There are no words! Simply amazing food, comfy atmosphere....a great time. The vegan tacos were delicious. I had the seitan asada and the Korean tofu. My daughter had the tater tots one, while my grandson had the gringo (steak and cheese). My daughter has the whiz masa fries, while I had vegan poutine. Everything was lucious, but there was so much we're heading home with leftovers. This will definitely become a favorite stop in Des Moines!

We love coming here. I normally get the bulgogi masa fries (SO GOOD) but last time I did the bulgogi nachos. They were also tasty. My spouse went with the wasabi brisket burrito, which he proclaimed a delicious success.
