Love that this place offers a lot of plant based items! Food is pretty good, fairly priced. Would skip the dessert though, not worth the price imo.
Been going to the paddock for years, and worked there around 1990, it's changed a lot and lost some of its charm. But worth a pint and a meal if you're in the area!

Came here on Thursday for a spot of late lunch, as it was fairly quiet with not many people in. Had their crispy chicken sandwich from the 'Super Specials' (wish I'd have taken a picture now!) Great value and there was a lot on the plate, very filling and worth every penny. Bonus that there was a free pudding on Thursday with every 'Super Specials' meal ordered too. 👍🏻 Staff, as they always are, were extremely polite and offered great customer service. Would definitely recommend the Paddock for a bite to eat and a relaxing drink.

Service was great with happy smiley staff
And atmosphere was good but a tad loud from what id guess is the locals
Gard to have a conversation with my friends and their children

Good food at a very reasonable price and very friendly staff. Went there today and had the special chicken New Yorker it was very nice and you get large portions. I would highly recommend them if you want great food at great prices.

The place could do with a bit of sprucing up but it is all kept very clean. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and on the ball. We thoroughly enjoyed our mid week lunch out and will be going there again.

I've been to several Greene King / Hungry Horse venues, and this places rates amongst the best.
Ordered mains, drinks and deserts by the app, and everything arrived in rapid time, cooked well, and was plentiful.
The one thing that let it down was their slowness in clearing away the empty plates.
Desert arrived and they were still there!!
Aside from that, great, value place to visit, and ample car park.

Food and value was great. First time at Paddock, service good too. The ultimate candymania almost killed us (2 people) to eat it... to be honest could have been dessert for 4 people and not needed a main meal!!! Look forward to going back again and trying more mains&desserts.
