Popped in during a ghost walk for a drink and this is an excellent place. Fascinating to talk to the bar staff about their spooky experiences and there is an old well visible in the bar area.

Friendly historic pub with wonderful beer garden. Despite numerous attempts by the local council to destroy it due to its location between two arterial roads,it survives. Friendly atmosphere, good choice of drinks. M
