1. I was attacked with zero provocation right across the street by some random scumbag. Permanent damage to my FACE. There aren't sufficient cameras here to provide police with appropriate evidence, but the guy definitely took his licks too, and consequently dripped a trail they could easily follow. Employees called 911 and the store has since hired security. 2. I was back there recently and wound up a little short on cash. I asked if I could clean up around the store for a few bucks to get what I needed, and Sparsh, a very friendly and personable guy, bought the items for me. Really blew me away, actually. He wouldn't let me work for them, but this display of compassion said a lot to me about their desire to be a good business neighbor. I think they genuinely do their best to operate ethically in a very difficult location, Also, if you don't like broken, potentially unstable, or dangerous people loitering everywhere, then become a YIMBY, support low-barrier and nontraditional housing alternatives. Be a part of a community safety group like Guardian Angels, and buy from BIPOC businesses and cooperatives as much as you can. America's elitism and exceptionalism must, by design, produce a vortex of poverty and a desperate struggle at the bottom to support itself. A better world is possible, but only if you help build it.

This location came in clutch. I was at a nearby bar with my wife and family. She began to feel nauseous and I was able to walk to this 7-11 for some medicine and Gatorade. The staff was not very friendly. One woman was running two cash registers. She scanned your items then walked to the other register to do the same and expected you to just assume you should swipe your card now. I did enjoy how the other employee walked up to a male, grabbed his items he was about to purchase and told him to get out because he had stolen the other day! Talk about handling their own.

This is the only location open when i need breakfast before work. COVID restrictions have most other 7-elevens closed when I'm headed in. The staff is respectful to those who are respectful. They have a tough job with the street people.
