Really cute set up; upstairs table for our party of 4 was perfect. Sides were the best part of the menu: fried rice, cauliflower, so good. The prawns were absolutely amazing. unfortunately my least favorite part of the meal was the steak. No seasoning and no flavor and I sent it back to be recooked and it still came out wrong. Chimichurri saved it. They say dishes are served to share I would say between 2/3 small people. my husband is a big guy good thing he ate before we came. $500 was our tab with drinks & 20% gratuity included which is becoming norm for downtown (Nicole was sweet and perfect service for our needs) but 18% autograt is usually standard. 4 stars because it’s overpriced but some great highlights.

Amazing hospitality. My wife and I showed up for dinner without a reservation. Javier greeted us, and we asked if we could sit at the bar. There was only one barstool available, but he was super accommodating, and set us up as soon as a second barstool opened up. Just really showed us that he wanted us to be there and have a great experience. Brent took care of us at the bar. Made some great drink recommendations. There was a small issue with one of the dishes we ordered, and Brent went above and beyond to make it right- to the point that I almost felt guilty about it. I just can't say enough about A5s dedication to hospitality. Very impressive. Then the food! Incredible burger, and great salad. Overall, the south side of downtown Denver has mostly bad restaurants if you care about a eating well, drinking well, and having a memorable experience. A5 is a rare beacon of quality in that area. I will be frequenting this place, that's for sure. Javier and Brent, we really appreciate how great you both were to us.

It was so good, from the start to the end. The food was absolutely amazing. I took my mother out for her birthday. She and my son both devoured their sirloins. I am a vegetarian so I wasn’t expecting much to choose from, but I was wrong. They had quite a few delicious vegetarian sides to choose from. The service was phenomenal. Our sever was attentive and friendly. The manager was great, he stopped by our table to ensure that we were enjoying our evening and to say happy birthday to my mother.

Six of us stopped in for dinner; we started with an assortment of fresh oysters from each coast, followed by "family style" steak, which the chef had cut into bite-sized pieces for easy sharing. Meat was cooked perfectly, wonderfully tender with just enough seasoning. As for sides, the whipped potatoes were nice, while I found the beets a little too sweet for my taste. Will definitely be going back. I'll want my own steak next time.

This dining experience was incredible. We got great recommendations on what to order and we were not disappointed. The Chickpea Fries were a sweet surprise and the Hamachi was so fresh. The A5 Wagyu is expensive and is only about 4 bites, but it is so tender it melts in your mouth. We either loved or greatly enjoyed everything and would go back again.
