You want to visit a fancy and classy restaurant? This is IT. The mood or the place, the culture and the decor is beyond amazing. And the food, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place, the bar is huge & beautiful and the tables are extremely comfortable. They also have outdoor seating m and a second bar in the VIP dining area. Highly recommend for date night, meetings and even entertaining clients or co-workers.

This is a C-grade restaurant. Good food. Good service. Incompetent management. No top tier wines listed on the wine list we're available...only low end wines that are OK for happy hour, but not what I want with lamb. The answer I got was that they were "in transition" on their wines. Poor planning by management. So, we paid the bill and transitioned out before the main course arrived.

The service was pretty bad. The table ordered two rounds io drinks, two glasses of wine and two cocktails. Each round took 20 minutes to come out. We had food at our table before the drinks came. When we inquired about the drink order the waitress just replied that the bar was backed up. The restaurant wasn't even half full. The food was underseasoned. Everything we had to eat was a really good concept just executed poorly. We ordered everything from the small plates section except for the meatballs, so we had a good sampling.

Drinks - overpriced. Food - average Service - average Unless you’re here for happy hour, be prepared to spend $120+ for a few drinks and apps. For my money, there’s better places. Feels like the owners just upcharge because they’re in Delray. This may work during season - but in order to survive, places here need local biz during the summers. This place won’t last.

There are many things you can say about restaurants in Delray. It's a very cutthroat environments for Restaurant Owners and a Haven for Foodies. Avant has a spectacular ambiance. They play good music. The Staff is friendly all around. The Barkeeps know how to craft a cocktail The Servers are prompt, efficient, courteous, and knowledgeable The Managers get things done The Chefs make some of the best food in Delray The Owners are pleasant and friendly The Prices are in line with most Delray Establishments The location is a tough spot and they overcome the challenge well by providing incredible and eclectic blend of food, drink, and service. This place should be called the hot mess express. First went multiple Fridays, when they first opened for HH, with a group of 6-8 friends. Each time, the wait to get drinks/food was ridiculous. The bill was always messed up, including drinks that was not purchased. Being charged for ice, lol. Being at that time they was new, decided to stay away for a few months, so they could find their groove. Went back last night, with same group of people... and well nothing has changed. Ordered a glass of wine, after waiting 27 mins, inquired about the wine. Was told the bartender threw away all the drink tickets. Waited another 15 minutes for a glass of wine. Others food was delivered prior to receiving a drink. Food is ok, but not worth the price. Much better options on the Ave for a good meal. I don't think this place will ever get it together, and our group is done trying. Disorganized chaos at it's finest.
