Artisan Grill

My wife and I wanted a quiet place to celebrate our anniversary. We were quite pleased with our experience at Artisan Grill. We arrived at 4:30 to beat any crowds were immediately sat at a quiet booth overlooking downtown DeLand. There was nice calm music and the staff was very friendly. Our server offered us Happy Hour while we browsed the menu which we gladly accepted. The menu had a well selections to choose whether you enjoyed, beef, chicken, fish, or pasta. Overall excellent experience dining in for the evening. Nice job Artisan! Would have been neat to have a card at the table telling the history of the building! Go check it out.

Food was decent, went for lunch while on a day trip in DeLand. It wasn’t busy when I was there, and service was just okay. The Bruschetta was good, the shrimp was good (would have been better with the inedible tails removed), all in all, tasty, but nothing extraordinary. The building itself and hotel is beautiful.

Went here for a bachelorette party. Getting sat was very quick. The servers were very polite and friendly. The only reason for the 4 star, as opposed to 5, is that I ordered a Caesar salad and it was awful. But the atmosphere and staff were very awesome. Definitely willing to try some of their other food.

It was our first time there. My Husband and l enjoyed the Atmosphere (dined by candlelight), Music (soft and low) , and the food was very good. Our server was Kendell and she was very attentive without hovering. View of the downtown area was very festive making it a joy to dine out. Priced very reasonable.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Our server very attentive. Nice relaxing evening for my husband and I. Brushetta was amazing. My husband had the Hawaiian burger with fries and I had New York Chicken which is served with spinach and artichoke in a lemon butter sauce. Both meals were great. Highly recommend this place, for a great meal and relaxing beautiful evening

The reason i gave only a one star is this. Visited during Sunday's brunch, the server Joe sat us and took our beverage order. I processed to the buffet room. Choices of food was scrambled eggs, potatoes, grits, biscuits, sausage gravy, fresh fruit, cinnamon French toast stick, mini Belgian waffles, bacon and sausage, chicken tenders, a pasta. The food selection was sufficient, the food quality was poor. The eggs were hard and dry, the biscuits were very small and dry, the sausage had no flavor which made the gravy tasteless, the F/t sticks were gooey inside and the waffles were also undercooked. I ordered eggs Benedict the English muffin was toasted perfect, the eggs were poached, the Canadian bacon was tasty, the hollandaise sauce was very thin and tasteless. I ordered coffee and the server Joe never checked to see if i needed a refill. I had to finish my meal with no beverage. Which in turn prevented me from finishing my meal. First impression i will never return. Very poor service as well as very poor prepared food.
