Applebee's

You know exactly what you are going to get with Applebee's, and this particular location was no exception. The service was great. The food was great, (obviously I ordered the 4 cheese mac n cheese, its the best thing on the menu). Couldn't ask for anything more. You don't go to Applebee's expecting a "fine dining" experience, you go because you want inexpensive food, and this was exactly that!

Needed something familiar that was close to the freeway. Food was served quickly and hot. I truly enjoyed my meal. Albeit, I was not very hungry. Service was mediocre, at best! Price was pretty steep, but then again they are steep almost anywhere. My only true complaint was that our server was not that good. He was covering the kitchen, bar and tables. I was surprised by that because they had a ridiculously large amount of staff working. Why was one guy doing so much? How in the world did they staff so many people? Granted they weren't doing much but I was shocked by how well they were staffed.

So first the hostess that showed up to the counter asked if she could help in kind of a rude attitude. They weren't busy but she wasn't at the hostess desk, the bar tender who couldn't even keep his hair out of his face, who didn't even look as if he had taken a shower in a couple of days was the one who greeted us. He went to go find the hostess because we had a party of 9 coming in so I wanted to make sure they had enough room since one of us had a walker. The hostess walked around like um I'll go set up a table and get something ready. There was 4 families in the whole restaurant. When I got up to go to the bathroom, I flushed the toilet and the water was coming up through the pipes on the back half of the toilet. It wasn't a recent thing cause there was a huge ring in the back half of the floor. When I came to wash my hands the right sink was clogged. And it looked really gross like it had been sitting there for a bit like couple days worth. Thankfully our waitress was a peach!! She handled two kids and 7 adults very well. Multiple drink orders, making it easier for food choices. For whatever reason the hostess came around and asked if we needed anything. So we asked for some water and a chocolate milk. Instead of just saying ok, we can get that she turned and looked at us and said I'm not a waiter. I can't get that, but I'll tell your waitress she can get it. There was literally nothing for her to do. But our waitress was running around to three other tables. If they can't clean their bathrooms, or help out there staff what does their kitchen look like. Their food was extra salty, the fries, the steak, basically anything they could put salt on or in, they did. I would not recommend going to this Applebee's. Ever!!!!

4 of us were out to dinner. We sat in a booth where 2 of our party were facing windows. The sun happened to be shining brightly in their eyes. The waiter closed the blinds when asked. We ordered drinks, then food. The menu was extensive and varied. The servings were too large and we couldn't finish it all. One person ordered decaf coffee but later decided she had been given regular coffee because of the effects felt. Our food was plentiful and good. One person said her southwest chicken bowl was much too spicy 🔥 hot. She likes spicy food but this was extra spicy and she couldn't eat much of it. It would have been nice to be warned. The other 3 of us enjoyed our food with no complaints. All in all it was a good experience. I would rate it average to good. I will return sometime. The waiter was prompt and polite. Food, for the most part was tasty and good.
