Joe's Original

Had a great time at Joe's original for dinner. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for autumn and had plenty of seating at 5:00 p.m. on a Sunday. The complimentary bread and oil dip cannot be beat, and is some of my favorite bread! My dining partner ordered a lavender lemonade and it was deliciously sweet. For meals, I ordered the spice crusted swordfish kebabs, it was supposed to come with apricot butter on top of the sweet potatoes which is why I ordered it but unfortunately they were out for the day. Well the butter was the main reason I ordered the dish, everything else was absolutely amazing and the swordfish had great flavor. The other meal which was ordered was the kids size salmon which was surprisingly generous portion and definitely enough for an adult with leftovers. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly and constantly refilled my iced tea with a fresh lemon each time. Food service was fast and they were nice enough to give me extra rolls and oil to take home with my leftovers without me asking.

I read the reviews and stopped in with two young once’s for lunch and boy was I disappointed. We started which nachos that came out literally as much as a small bag of chips and they were burnt. My kid ate one and yelped that it tasted like “burnt”. I asked the waitress if they usually look like that or if the cook burnt them and she said they usually come burnt by accident and laughed. Apparently they get out in the brick oven which is why they look like that…the manager agreed with me that they were burnt and refunded which was nice. Then the main course came and the Nashville hot taste super ghost peppery instead of other Nashville hot flavors I have tasted but it was mediocre at best. The grilled cheese was more disappointing. The cheese was like prepackaged wax cheese which you could see the super shine in the pictures. $60+ for three ppl for this trash was super disappointing I won’t be back!

So I just paid 38 dollars for 2 of these. The depth is only around an actual inch. I also just worked 13hrs and needed a good, strong healthy dinner to make up for the days work. This was 100% not it. Not sure what covid excuse you all have now but thank you for making me bring this to an actual restaurant and using it as my app because your main dinner was so inept. You have truly fell off and the fact you're still in buisness is beyond me. Close doors other than your bar and don't yell at bar staff for "over pouring" because it's all you have left. Late.

Pretty sad to get home and have 3 burnt pizzas 😔! Had to wait an extra 15 minutes for the pies to be done only to have burt cardboard crust. What a waste of $59!! It's a shame because in the past the pizza was great! Please improve your quality and take the pizza out the oven early! Would be 0 stars if I could!

3 rd time up from RI to eat here food was awesome every time , great unique apps , strawberry short cake was one of the best I’ve ever had, drinks were good ,if I had anything to add, I would not even say it is a compliant, is service is kinda slow , that said we only ever ate on patio outside, the staff is super, super friendly so I don’t blame staffing on them , but overall food quality more than made up for the waiting a bit .

Great place & fantastic food .I love their eclectic menu & wonderful staff. Just in case I would do an online reservation because it gets packed @ poplular hours. Above & beyond the food is simple & amazing! We try to dine there a couple of times a month. This pesto marinated chicken with arugula salad was perfect.

I've been to Joe's Original a few times and it hasn't disappointed me at all. Their staff is friendly and polite, and their food is delicious! They have so many yummy choices to choose from, it's hard to decide what to get. My husband and I visited a couple of days ago and I tried the pork ramen. It was amazing! A must try for any lover of Asian cuisine. A word of caution: this place gets extremely packed at times and there might not be seating for HOURS. Last week when my husband and I tried to come here, the wait was two hours and the restaurant was full of reservations. We really wanted to eat here that day, but we were way too hungry to wait two hours for a table. Other than that, this place is wonderful. I highly recommend!
