The Copper Beech

Called in, one adult one child for an evening meal mid-week. Was quite busy, we were asked if we had pre booked a table, and I answered no, the waitress managed to find us a table for two. Food was delivered and prepared quite quickly, so overall, it was a very efficient and speedy service. Menu prices were reasonable, too. However, the food wasn't overly great, in my opinion. They have a lovely outdoor front area, which is covered. (Didn't see out of the back). The car park was quite small and tight. Toilets weren't the cleanest, which kind of let the establishment down.

Popped in here on our way to a concert as we needed a bite to eat and so glad we did. The service we received was brilliant all the staff are lovely and welcoming. Now for the food. Well what can I say, it was absolutely delicious and I had chilli which came with home-made chips and my husband had lasagne, and said it was the best he has had. Would highly recommend this place, if we ever pop to Darlington again we will definitely be coming here!

Food was excellent and very generous portions. Staff were amazing and friendly, made small talk and chatted and extremely prompt. The decor was modern and overall a good atmosphere without the rush around vibe and the covered outdoor area actually reminded us of being abroad. Great job to all involved, wonderful place for a special occasion without breaking the bank. Bill came to £40 for 3 meals and 3 drinks. Excellent value. Will return.
