Three Brothers Diner

Stopped by 3 brothers diner today while in Danbury for breakfast. Aesthetic of the diner is nice, it’s very old school/classic diner vibes. My bf and I enjoyed our meals, I had the French toast which I loved. My boyfriend enjoyed his omelette but said it had way too much veggies for an omelette. Our waiter was nice. Overall great experience.

I loved this place, today changed my mind. First I got to say the waitress was nice and none of this was her fault. So i got an omelet, the whole omelet was burnt, i don’t usually mind but it was also just bland. And i also got home fries which obviously aren’t home fries, they were barely cooked and flavorless, the waitress brought out another order no problem. Except the next was cooked but also still no flavor at all. I also got toast with a heart attack and disgusting amount of butter on it.. This place used to be good, don’t know what happened. I only gave an extra star because the waitress was very understanding.

Not the great food you expect from diners. All the food was overcooked and the staff forgot one of dishes till we finished the rest of the food. I ordered the the big boss breakfast sandwich. I didn't like it, everything was dry even though I got it with eggs over easy. We also order the banana Nutella bread which was okay, expected little bit more Nutella and banana and less bread. I think there are better places around.

I would of gave it 5 star but I was a bit put back by the staff . Location and atmosphere is great and outside is a real dinner feel . Beautiful . I loved it . Our waitress was good but insisted on I not eat the dye for the not so velvet pancakes I wanted to eat . she explained they where plain pancakes with red dye . I appreciate her looking out making sure I don't consume toxic dye . But it sends a clear picture that it's false advertising for their red velvet pancakes to not be red velvet but regular pancake badder . I ended up eating a plain pancake with whipped cream . I didn't want to complain . It was Contradictory to what her menu explained . I also didn't know how to take walking into the establishment . I wasn't greeted the same way as the people in front of me were . It was weird . He told them they could sit wherever they wanted . He Took a look at my wife and I and said we had to follow a waitress to be seated . Maybe they where regulars ?? But it just didn't seem like it . I don't know . I would of liked the same sentiment . Overall food came out fast and food was delicious . Not used that kind of experience I guess . O yeah I found a hair in one of the syrup containers . I stopped eating paid and left .

The waitstaff is very professional and courteous. All the food is clean, not greasy, not overly salted like many diners do. The home fries tasted of real potato, very fresh. The French toast is maybe the best I've ever had, with very thick cut homemade Challah bread, crispy fried but still soft and airy inside. This diner should be on everyone's list of go to, and go back to.
