This is a comfortable place to sit and talk while having some of the best food and drinks. Wait there's more... They sell books, toothpaste and soap.
They have a vegan menu along with a host of other foods.
The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is so comfortable. I could spend hours here.

Here’s your chance to feed your body and mind. Sankofa is the perfect neighborhood kitchen and bar for client meetings, solo or group dining and definitely the place to expand your mind over a wonderful meal. The healthy food options with affordable prices are much appreciated! If turkey is your thing, you’ll love their Turkey Burger! We loved the vibe, the food, the exceptional service and the location. Dining at Sankofa is a true experience.

My husband and I were wanting a healthier food option for dinner. We have a fitness competition in town and this was the perfect place! Everyone was very nice and the food was DELICIOUS! We both had the Turkey Burger with sweet potato fries! Definitely recommend and if we come back to town we will be returning

So happy and grateful to find a place I can eat with my family. I’m vegan and love the vegan options here. My parents are omnivores and my Dad loved the catfish. He said it was the best catfish he’d had in a long time. My Mom liked her cheeseburger. I had the vegan nachos and they were good and filling- nice portion size. Hibiscus black tea was sweet and yummy, too.

Omg! I have NEVER ate a vegan burger, im not even a vegan but just trying to watch my weight…I def will be back. The flavor of this burger was incredible. Tricked the mess outta me - I could tell no difference Sankofa Kitchen is Def the right place to go from my experience. A bit pricey but worth every bite…I mean bit , Nice ppl too

I'm a semi truck driver annnnd this place is great for my son and I !! Works for Bob tail parking!! Very clean, nice people!! Friday night is real crab legs!! Mongolian grill and sushi always!! Grateful for the beautiful atmosphere, smiles, professionalism. All nationally of people eating. Just a nice place to be!! This is my second time here . First time for lunch during the week. This time for dinner on Friday night!! I plan on coming back again and again!! This is my special place now!!

Tried for the first time and will definitely be back when in the area. Had the Sankofa vegan burger and fries. Best Vegan burger I've ever had. Loved the flavors and fresh toppings. The fries were really good also. The fries were not greasy and very good.
