Fireside Pies

I love the food—and I’ve been a fan of this place for many years, but Grubhub/Uber is destroying the experience of actually going out. Sorry, but if you can’t get a drink because your bartender is never behind the bar, and always catering to the people ordering out, then become a Dominos. Not the staff’s fault… but it’s the truth.

First time here with a friend who is a regular and the Entire staff knew him and took their time to check on us no matter how busy they were so they definitely pampered the experience. As it got busy, I noticed the staff was exceptionally attentive and greeted everyone as they walked in the door so there's definitely a comradrerie amongst the team to make the atmosphere very inviting. We ordered the meatballs & crustini's for appetizers and the Goat cheese stuffed peppadew peppers which were TO DIE!! My friend and I both had pasta dishes, he had the Bucatini and I had the Bolognese and I added 2 meatballs.. Now I typically don't eat pasta, maybe once a year but I'm considering coming back next week b/c of the friendly experience and the Pasta was superior and I still had to do a to-go Box. HIGHLY recommended here!

During this pandemic, all I wanted was a good pizza. The take & bake kit they gave us had to be replaced but they did it without hesitation or grief at all & were so kind to us. Not to mention that the pizza they gave us to cook at home was better than 99% of the pizza joints around here. LOVE THIS PLACE!

When we first walked in here, we were greeted by the lovely hostess Lorraine. For a hostess, she goes above and beyond from what I'm used to seeing from a hostess. I feel like she actually served us more than our actual waiter and she was still able to control the front with no issues. I hope you guys are taking care of her because that's rare for a hostess to do so much like that. This was my first time to this location and I noticed it was more family oriented here compared to the other locations or maybe it was because it was the day before Thanksgiving. Not a bad thing since me and my significant other just wanted a relaxing night out. I definitely recommend this location and will be back again!
