La Terra Bakery & Cafe

Cute bakery right on Homestead and Blaney. A nice place to get some pastries, desserts or coffee aside from the usual bakery chains that you find around town. They offer a variety of desserts and jams. You can also order tea aside from coffee. They serve Intelligentsia Coffee and Tara's Ice Cream. There is a restroom available for use and wifi as well. Service was very welcoming. I got some desserts to go but ate in the cafe for awhile. They kept the desserts in the fridge for me until I was ready to go. Wouldnitely be coming back.

Charming little gem in Cupertino, small family-run business, back open as of September 2021. Unique, creative pastries, beautifully presented and not too sweet (Sugar Butter Flour is guilty of this). Every pastry has depth, like a surprise raspberry in the middle of their choco-mousse raspberry dome. Others have said it's expensive, but for excellent unique pastries, these are really reasonable. Always a delight to get a treat from La Terra!

Great cafe. Would be nice to have early morning open hours and hours on Sunday. Edit: this place is temporarily closed but still leaves the front door open and still has the kitchen staffed. Will just completely ignore you if you call out for coffee. I arrived on the 28th, 2 days before this scheduled temporary closure but they still wouldn't help.

Such a lovely place to have tea with dessert! The service is outstanding also. That's why I give this place 5 stars. A co-worker and I stopped by to wait out the traffic on one of the weeknights and both of us ordered two different kinds of tea. Each tea arrived in individual tea pots with beautiful tea cups and even a sand-watch, to tell us when we can start sipping the tea. They have so many different teas to choose from! I will definitely go back to try more flavors. And the croissant that I had was also very good. They have a large variety of different cakes and pastries to choose from. All looked very appetizing and stunning.
