Super friendly, cosy and delicious authentic cuisine, never tried Brazilian before and everything was explained and recommendations were happily given.

I was here when this bad review happened. I’m a regular here. Food is outstanding, service is superb and the hygiene is spot on. This group is the typical people who order 2 plates for 4 people and drink water. They beg the owner not to pay or otherwise we will post a bad review. Low people looking for free meals

Great brunch here on sunday after a heavy night out. Poached eggs chorizo avocado fried cornbread beetroot green things and plenty of chillies FANTASTIC I'd recommend fried baby squid on the side too, a great sharer with my mate. If I'd cooked at home beetroot and avocado might not have made it on to my plate but the whole mix did the trick. Great friendly welcoming service too. Thanks guys

The place was nice and warm and the waitress and chef there were both really friendly! The starters were very tasty and loved the cassava fries with the sauce and the Coxinhas de Frango was the best thing I have had in some time! The main was very nice and was a decent sized portion and had a really nice time in this location Would definitely recommend coming here Good for taking someone for a date

DON’T THINK TWICE. JUST COME HERE. I found this place by accident but they were busy last weekend so I came back today. Called in advance and reserved, staff were super friendly despite being very busy. Always had a smile on their face and apologized politely when my juice came a little later. Fresh ingredients, good food and good vibes. Just remember to take cash with you - they don’t take cards. Lovely lovely hardworking staff - I’m definitely coming back!

Been on Sunday for a brunch and had a great experience. The atmosphere is lovely: the restaurant is colorful, the furniture and the music reproduce the brazilian vibe and rhythms. Wide choice of options for vegetarians (and not). We shared a Samba and Carnival brunches. Both were exquisite with a great flavours match. We also had 2 excellent cocktails. Fair prices. Lovely staff. Definitely recommended! I will come back.

This is a excellent little gem hidden within Brixton market. Great place we visited for brunch having a pulled beef, on corn muffin with poached egg sour cream and plantain. It was a great brunch but it was a tiny bit pricey and the coffee could of been of higher quality. Despite this I would recommend everyone visits. The food was great quality and the staff were very friendly and attentive 10/10 please visit :)

Best brunch place in Brixton. No idea why anyone would ever go anywhere else - the food is exceptional! The Carnival is my favourite - the perfect combination of sweet, spicey, fresh, filling and full of flavour. Egg, haloumi, plantain, pepper, pineapple, rocket, muffin magic and so much more. We also just tried the cassava and will now have to order it every time we come - heaven! The chef is a genius and the staff were so friendly and attentive.

Hands down the best breakfast in Brixton...possibly even London! You can’t go wrong if you order from the Brazilian options (I haven’t tried the British options so can’t say but imagine still great). My friends and I have been coming here for years and the food is absolutely delicious! The staff are super warm and lovely and so on it. One of Brixton’s original and best restaurants. It’s because of restaurants like this brixton has become the food hub it is. Still.... even with all the options there is no competition. Anyone who says anything negative is obviously short of a few taste buds. GO! You won’t regret it!

Loved this different food, small menu but the food is very good with big portions. Owner was very helpful and pleasant. Small bits around £6 with mains around £11.

Came for the second time this week - service was friendly, and food was nice enough - although ordered the black bean and rice, and the chicken and rice dishes which were both pretty bland. Giving 4 stars as last time I had a nice burger and saw some other food come out that was better and think we ordered badly!

Now this was a lovely wee find. We only went here cos the place we had planned on was closed and I'm so glad we did. The food was absolutely glorious. Himself ordered something named after a favela and when it arrived, i don't quite know how, but it looked like a favela, and more importantly it tasted beautiful. (Could not for the life of me tell what it actually was but like I said it was delicious and gave me an instant dose of food envy). I had a chicken salad which was simple but well done and hence gorgeous. Lovely waitress too who was happy to recommend me a starter (croquettes, cheesy meaty yummyness).

Best brunch in Brixton - and possibly anywhere! But don't be pinned down to brunch alone - the all day menu is also fabulous, and the baked goods/cakes took me by surprise with their skill. It's rare to find somewhere that's so excellent across the board - plus the staff/owners are charming!

Delicious meaty dinner. This place is small as most places in the market but its nicely done and the food is great. We shared empanadas to start which were so tasty, and the dipping sauce made them even better. For mains we had the burger dish made from pulled pork in a cheese infused bun which worked really well. We also had some beef skewers which was cooked to perfection and had great flavour. We just had a bottle of house white wine which was perfectly drinkable and the whole thing came to just under £40. Remember though they are cash only and while there are public toilets in the market you can use its best to hold it until you get somewhere else if you can. This is all to be expected on market row.
