Dairy Queen

Today broke my heart to post this but dairy queen let us down. My friend an me went an everything looks yummy. So we decided on nachos mmmm mouth watering !!!! Unfortunately uhhh someone made mistakes. my friend ordered simple cheese nachos an jalapeños. So 8 chips with a little poured on cheese an they forgot jalapeños. A big let down. First time for me I'll be back for a blizzard .

I waited to review this location because I really love Dairy Queen. Tonight was the final straw. I will never return to this location. Here is the rundown of my past 5 visits over the last 2 months.... any time we order food we are told to pull around and wait in the front and they will bring it out no matter if there are no cars behind us or if there are 3+ and there is always at least a 30 minute wait if it's peak times or not. The food is never fantastic, it's just mediocre at best but again I like DQ. Anyway..tonight We get there and we order food and it's ready in under 5 minutes!!! I was excited! Granted I did have to repeat myself 5 times since like always their speaker is crappy and I asked for extra mayo on my chicken sandwich and they said it don't come with mayo. I said can I add it to it? They said yes and I said ok extra mayo please and they remind me it doesn't come with mayo. I guess the concept of asking for two things at once... add mayo and put extra... was beyond their comprehension because I got what could be described as a light smear on it only (pics included). Then.... I discovered why our food was so fast. It must have been cooked hours earlier because the chicken was hard and tasted burned and the cheese on the burger was solid and not even starting to melt as the patty was ice cold. The fries were like cardboard. We considered taking it back but I never want to risk someone spitting in my food so I just tossed it and we went to Nicky D's out on 377. Go to the Burleson DQ as it's much cleaner and the food is fresh and fast. I think the 5 star reviews are a fluke and maybe the 1 visit these reviewers took was like a lotto win and they managed to get good food.
