I love this place, and I feel sad for having to say anything negative but you need to know. The quality of the food has gone down. The flavor of the place has changed. The atmosphere is definitely different. What happened to the warm family like neighborhood feeling? The sauce was raw, the meatballs were flavorless.... I was there 6 months ago and was disappointed. I tried again 2 weeks ago it was worse. The fact that I didn't have to wait in line on a Friday should have given me a clue that I would be disappointed. The only reason I am giving you a generous 4 Star is because I can't bear to bash Dee's my favorite sandwich place for over 50 years. Sell it before you completely ruin the place because your heart has changed. GOD bless

Even though they were out of bread, the italian wraps and antipasto salad were phenomenal! I don't know why this was only the first visit in the 8 years i have lived in Cranston, but i for sure will be back for more! Enjoy your vacation week :)

Best sub shop in the state! It's small and can get busy but other than that not a complaint from me. I love this place and go often. Italian sandwich is perfection!

I really like the food however it's a god dam zoo.
Line is always out the door, I went on lunch break and it took me 45 minutes to place an order. I have tried ordering online, but they stop taking online orders as early as 11AM - it just says 'closed'. Today I have called 10 times in the last hour and just get the busy signal - assuming they purposely are leaving the phone off so they don't have to take more orders.
It's just a bummer because I want to support local businesses and I like the food, but I have NEVER had such a hard time ordering food somewhere. getting lunch shouldn't take an hour from a sub shop.......

I've been going to this place for over 40 years! The way they make their sandwiches has never changed. Still the best tasting Italian grinders I have ever had.

Light on the fillings, dressing was meh, bun was soft and they don't (can't) toast them. Oh yeah, and wicked overpriced.

Every time we are in the area we have to stop there and get a sandwich. Today my husband and I got a meatball sandwich to share. It was huge and OMG delicious. Want a great sandwich and super nice customer service? Then Dee's Deli is the place to go
