Boatyard Eats

Great location for live music, good food & drinks, and has a nice play area for kids to run off some energy. I wen with a friend Sunday just to catch up for a bit and ended up staying for 5 hours. The staff was super friendly & personable: excellent customer service!! The band they had playing outside (at 7pm) was exceptional and brought us some old school rhythm & blues with horns, the sax, flute, drums, keyboard and more. It was such an unexpected treat and had lots of us on the dance floor making memories. Can't wait to come back again! 💃🏽

We were at the BY for a School of Rock event. We were a group of 11 and everyone liked the drinks, fries, onion rings and hamburgers. The place is nice and clean, full of cool details like quotes from musicians on the walls, lamps made out of drums, references to bands and artists all over the place. They have a small park for kids and lots of outdoor and indoor sitting areas. The parking lot is big. The staff was friendly. Because the event took place on the outdoor stage, we were sitting under the sun for 2 hours, there is no good shade for an event in the middle of a hot day. The place should have allowed the bands to play in the indoor stage. We had to leave earlier due to the heat, but I'm sure an event at night must be awesome.

Fantastic music venue in Cornelius! They have a great selection of craft beer on tap and a full bar with some liquors you don’t typically see in most bars. I’m a big gin drinker and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had Roku Gin from Japan which is fantastic. They also had Tanqueray and Bombay Sapphire. Impressive! I have been here many times but my last visit was on New Year’s Eve 2021. Obviously, they were very busy but I never had to wait long to get a drink. By the way, they pour nice, stiff drinks and the prices are reasonable as well so you get your money’s worth! The bartenders and staff are top notch! It’s a safe environment too with enough security for a venue this size. They bring in some of the top bands in the Charlotte area and beyond and the sound system is unbelievable! If you’re looking for a great place to listen to some great live music then this is it!

Went to go watch/listen to the Bob Marley tribute and was not allowed in because I was not 21 despite going there many times. When did this become a thing and why? Boatyard was one of my favorite places to visit with the live music. You would assume an outdoors, live music establishment would be family friendly but I guess not. Y’all need to change this back to how it was.

Went to see the band Decarlo at BoatYard LKN. They sounded amazing!! The atmosphere was great. It was my first time here. As a mother and REALTOR® life gets hectic. We must remember in life though to always take care of ourselves first. So that we can then, take care of others. Will be coming back to BoatYard LKN to unwind again.

Never been to BYE but I always drive by it as a busy REALTOR®️ My clients invited me to experience the live music provided by the band Decarlo. It was AWESOME. The venue was well laid out. The acoustics outside were great and everyone had plenty of breathing room so you didn't feel like you were on top of someone else. Will definitely be back to hear some more live music. Cover bands.
