We've been in the area six years, have heard nothing but great things about this restaurant...hold the phone. The fried green tomatoes...they were horribly undercooked, and I know you cook these buy the color of your cornmeal in the fryer, the problem is the tomatoes need to be half as thick. Only one hard knock, my wife ordered their signature burger (which had to go back to the kitchen) and a baked potato, she classified it as unetable. I have eaten Shrimp & Cheese Grits all over the country, when these were placed in front of me I thought "what the hell", it looked like Jambalaya? I couldn't see a grit one for the roux? But the taste, it was amazing! My only knock is about x4 times the needed mushrooms. Service was good, but we were there when they opened.

Lollypop lamb chops with chimichuri inspired sauce as an appetizer and duck breast on sweet potato hash & roasted brussel sprouts with a side of fried green tomatoes for dinner tonight made this visit worthwhile. Attentive service and a good selection of craft beer are worthy of mention too. It had been several years since I visited Smith but honestly I can't believe that I waited to return. I won't make that mistake again the future!

We were only in town for one day and just went into the first restaurant we encountered and so glad we did. Great food, wonderful waitress and good prices. I had the Smith.burger and it was the juiciest burger I have ever had as well as one of the tastiest. After commenting to the waitress about how juicy the burger was, she informed me that the meat was 70% beef and 30% bacon. No wonder it was both juicy and tasty! What guy doesn't love bacon? My wife had the fried green tomatoes and commented on how good they were. They were thinly sliced and had a little of their "comeback" sauce on them, which added a nice touch to the already great tomatoes. If you are in Corinth, do yourself a favor and stop in to Smith's.

We've been here before, the food is always very good. Well this time we have a problem with the bill. We get the bill, go to pay it with debit card, so they bring the device to the table, we leave a tip & check out. Now the problem, some where in the check out process beer is added to our bill, we have one receipt, showing no beer & and the final receipt time stamped 1 minute later with a different amount. As we had looked at the receipt just before paying the bill, we didn't look at the final one she gave us at check out till we got home. So there answer is, bring the bill back, they will charge us for the correct amount and the issue a refund that could take a week to post! I'm sorry, that's unacceptable, could I pay for my food a week later? Like I said, good food but the lack of customer service is a deal breaker for me
