Panera Bread

This has always been our go-to Panera. Over the past few months, the quality in service has declined. The entire order is not ready at the designated time. Drinks are usually incorrect and it entails going back to the store or just accepting the wrong drink. Today I had to go inside to get a curbside order. The order was sitting on the counter with part of the order not yet made. Upon making this known, one employee went to get oatmeal for themselves and another just leaned against the counter doing nothing. Previous managers, like Shawn, would recognize an issue and work to correct it. Now it seems that diminished service is the standard.

This is our Panera of choice. The restaurant is always clean and the service is usually very good. We usually grab dinner here, which, thankfully, is when there are not many people in there. Their have been a few times where the associates were minorly unprofessional, but not enough to deter me from returning or changing my review.

I guess the pandemic, inflation, and supply chain problems have taken their toll. This morning I went there for coffee with a friend. No napkins! They were completely out. Luckily my friend had paper towels in his car. The coffee was ok. However the cup was dirty on the inside with severe coffee stains. I guess I would rate this experience as disappointing. Sign of the times, I suppose
