Cholas

A group of us from work went on Thursday for our traditional "payday buffet". It was our first time at this particular Indian restaurant. When we were seated no drink other than water was offered to us, but the water came automatically to the table. It was brought by the only employee we saw the entire meal. The dining area was large and well decorated, they were not busy at all when we went. The buffet consisted of a very large selection of Indian foods both warm and cold. Some of the curries were on the spicy side (a good thing IMO). The atmosphere was lacking the hustle and bustle i am accustomed to from the other Indian buffets I have been to. Overall it was a good experience with tasty food with good value. I hope others try this place. 4/5 stars. *UPDATE* 10/26/2015 went again last week. 5/5 stars this time. very delicious. great atmosphere!

Amazing food and great service. The food was excellent, I had the vindaloo it was spicy and very tasty, the meat was very tender. The breads were fresh and delicious. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive (but not overpowering ) My only complaint is that I'm in Charlotte visiting for the weekend and won't be able to come again, if this restaurant was in Wilmington I'd be there every week !!!

The best lunch buffet in the town either you are a strict vegetarian or an hard core non vegetarian! We have been to this place this weekend. Very Authentic Indian food, great service, less oily, apt spicy and flavorful, tastes homely and good value for money... Definitely recommend driving to this place to satisfy your appetite !!!

Fantastic Indian food and very friendly service. The Masala Dosa was perfect and I could of been sat in Bangalore or Mumbai with the wonderful flavors. If you like Indian food or want to try something different I can honestly say this is one of the best place to go. I lived all over India for 2 years while working there and can appreciate the authentic flavor / style of the dishes offering North and South cuisine. I will be visiting often.

Quality of food is compromised by the worst service. The server dint take the order properly, never bothered to apologize, and then took an hour to bring the food. Finally,made us wait 20mts for boxes, ignored to bring the check to table and had to pay the bill at the counter. Attitude at its peak!! A simple apology and good will to compensate it by speedy delivery would have lightened the situation. Clearly shows he doesn't care about the clients and of course least cares about the success of restaurant,what bothers him if we don't go back.

We went to Cholas during our stay at Great wolf lodge, I will say Cholas is one of the best Indian restaurants I have seen so far. Yes the food is great but more than that the hospitality is worth a mention, very warm and nice staff and management. I will definitely recommend this place and I am looking forward to going there again.
