This was our second time having dinner here. I can't say more positive things about this place. I had duck confit last time. This time I had the spicy fish stew. Both were absolutely incredible. Dinner was early enough to catch the end of happy hour which sliders and booze at a discount. Overall service is great and food was excellent. Gotta try the donuts(I forgot what they were called) Can't wait to go back. Outdoor seating is great for people watching

The food was good it was the service that killed it. Waited a while actually a long while to have our order taken. We ordered appetizers and a main dish unfortunately our main dish came out before our appetizers. And as I was paying I gave the waitress my debit card to pay for our bill and she returned with somebody else's bill and charged my ATM card that was another bummer. Of course I corrected the error and was told that I will be getting a refund for the wrong amount charged. But I'm not sure if I'll be coming back I really like the food though. it was just a timing of everything everything was slow.

Authentic and busy. 3.5 stars. Our Sunday early dinner for two without alcohol was pricey (~$100), but to be fair we split 4 main dishes to assess the overall menu on this, our maiden visit. Atmosphere was lively - loud like all happenings Peruvian! Good music. Dishes were served hot. Service was disappointing, less than enthusiastic. While polite and prompt when first seated we had to find help to get more beverages and waited 40 minutes for dessert: picarones that fell short of the mark - without an appearance or an apology from our server. Pump up the flavor and step up the game, folks! All in all, though, I would go back to give it a second chance.

Restrooms: clean Outdoor seating: yes Kind workers: yes Pricing: descent Got the La Cesarota Salad and Braised Lamb Shank, no drinks and my total bill was $42.81 before the tip. FYI, my partner and I split these two plates and left very full. The Salad was a nice size and had a nice flavor to it which reminded me of a Caesar salad. They give you a nice amount of egg, bacon, and cheese which I appreciate. The lamb shank was HUGE! The meat fell off the bone so don’t worry about needed a knife to cut into it. The beans were…beans..and the rice was really good. I just wished the dish had more flavor. To be honest, I think it was missing salt but I also want to state that this was the first Peruvian food I’ve had so I don’t have anything else to compare it to. The lack of flavor is why I only gave them a 4/5 star. This place also seems to being a diverse customer base which is always great to see.

True Peruvian in the east Bay that really worth giving a try! From the second we came it felt a bit cold service wise, however few mins flew by and we were in the center of attention. Yelping the images of all the deliciousness decided to stay as authentic as possible with ceviche selection, anticuchos de corazo (Bull heart), seco de cordero (lamb shank), chicha and - Cusquena! To be honest, thanks to the Peruvian chief for the the taste buds explosion, I would say - I’m going to be back and try the rest of it along with the deserts. Service turned out to be very pleasant and unobtrusive, thank you Paola and rest of the stuff, that helped to make this visit unforgettable. See you soon.

PERFECTION that is it! Our bartender was so friendly and made the best recommendations. Whoever the chef is super passionate about Peruvian cuisine, ingredients were fresh and everything we ordered was incredibly flavorful! It’s honestly the best meal I’ve had in a long time and now I want to book a vacation to Peru because the food here was so good.
