Burger Bar

If I could give this place zero stars I would, and I'm shocked writing this since reviews from other people say different. The garlic parm fries we couldn't even eat, because the garlic was so strong you couldn't even enjoy them. Then the first cheeseburger was alright since it was an easy order of just cheese and extra pickles, but unfortunately I had to add cheese and add pickles to it. Then the second cheeseburger didn't get any better since I had to add cheese to it as well, and remove the lettuce because it was brownish in color, and the 1 tiny tomato had to go since it was bite size, and the worse part of it all was the bottom bun was half bread and the other half was soggy bread so I had to replace their buns with my own bread. Someone was suppose to give me a call back but figured a week or so has gone by I'm probably not hearing back from anyone.

I’ve been to the Burger Bar a few times and have always been impressed. This was my first time ordering the Mc’B burger. I should have gotten the double. The single doesn’t fill the bun enough and while the pickles and sauce were well seasoned, this burger was missing the salty and umami flavor that is distinct at Mc’ D’s. The bun was well toasted and buttery while the cheese melted to a classic American nuclear yellow glue that binded the burger. The burger was a great temp, pickle was well salted and briney, not to mention the shredded lettuce softened the texture of the bite while also adding crispness. The fries reminded me of the fries from Al’s French Fries or Beansie’s. I sprayed vinegar on them with a dash of salt to recreate my childhood. I also ordered jalapeño poppers. The jalapeño and cream cheese bit through easily and while I don’t usually like ranch, it helped mitigate the spice of the jalapeño. I’m excited to come here again and see how the double compares but for now I rate the burger: 8.2/10

I've had some really great burgers here in the past. But like many restaurants, takeout saved them during COVID but is has ruined them. We waited an extremely long amount of time for our food because there were so many takeout orders ahead of us. When we got our food my burger was overcooked. And our drinks seemed way too expensive.

These were supposed to be Buffalo wings, however they were burned up garbage. Had to order again somewhere else. Also, note the hair. Additional quality issues: Payed for up charge side dish got regular side dish. BLT wrap had 2 strips of bacon in it. Even the soft pretzel was bad (freezer burned dough maybe?)
