China One

We ordered sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, large boneless spare ribs, and some egg rolls and it was ALL great and mega fresh. When I came in to pick up food the nicest older lady was finishing up order and she really cared to make it right not just rush. Food is great, and the boneless spare ribs are the highlight. Very little gristle in the meat, and the glaze sauce was so good and fresh made. I will absolutely be coming back.

So last night, I placed an online order with China One, using my debit card to make the purchase. Just this morning, I received 3 notifications from my bank that 3 transactions that I haven't heard of cannot be made due to insufficient funds. Thank god I don't have enough funds, otherwise those charges would go through. As you can see on the 1st and 2nd screenshots, you can see the time difference between the 2. I also posted a few more screenshots referring to an earlier incident, because I noticed the date/time difference between when I placed an order then, and when 4 unknown transactions came up. I called China One today and tried to report the situation. The manager who answered kept interrupting me and asking me for my address, but I wasn't even gonna disclose my address at this point. I had no choice but to hang up and write this review. If you want your card/bank info to be safe, which I'm sure many of you do, pick a different Chinese restaurant to order from, do not order from China one. I could be wrong, but based on what I have said, and the screenshots I posted, someone from China One stole my debit card information, they made 4 transactions successfully 2 months ago, and tried to make 3 more today, and failed.

I called to order and they told me to pick up in 15. But when I showed up they told me they were closed. If they were closed why did they take my order? Before I ordered once a week but I’m never ordering again. Not only that but the woman who told me that they were closed yelled at me and didn’t speak much English she just pointed at the menu and said “ not open ” . I’m glad because this was the first time I’d actually been in the so called “restaurant” before I’d just gotten it delivered it smelled awful and was very hot. Don’t order from here waste of time and money.

I'm only giving it one star because you can't give it zero stars. My order, with FREE delivery was $16 and change. My card was charged $19 and change. When I called to resolve the issue i was told by the person who answered my call that she didn't understand my problem (she didn't understand English well enough to help me-her words not mine)

This place fails on the two most important fronts for a food service spot; customer service and food safety. I called for to place a lunch order, it was a bit later in the day (just before 4pm) so I asked, just in case, if they still had the lunch special. Apparently this was too much to ask for, because the rude woman on the phone yelled "NO! You called after 4!" And hung up. I called back, honestly annoyed and hoping to voice my concerns and possibly order, and she just interrupted me explaining that I was just hung up one with "you gonna order this time!?" When I said not if she was going to be rude, she hung up again. More concerning? When I shared my experience with the neighboring shops employees, they said they never eat there anyway; as they routinely see employees open the back door where their stock is to take smoke breaks and allow all their ingredients to sit at room temperature in the summer and spring flies and all.

I ordered bourbon chicken combination plate in person after waiting 5 minutes to be acknowledged. I watched the girl behind the counter place some pre-portioned substance in the microwave hoping to god it wasn't mine. It was. It was completely inedible. They were working on other orders as I was there, but the grills were clean and nothing was actually being cooked to order. Not only was the chicken microwaved, it had no indication that it was ever cooked in actual wok. It seemed as if it was boiled and reheated. It had no flavor. I won't order from them again. This will be the first and last time. The employees aren't inattentive, they're downright RUDE and the food was absolutely disgusting.
