We ate here the weekend of the 2023 Island County Fair and were pleasantly surprised to see there have been some needed improvements since our last visit. The service has always been fast and friendly, but the establishment has been given a much-needed refreshing, is definitely cleaner, has more effective lighting, and the food was very good. We will eat here more often as we live nearby.

My wife and I went here for the first time last week and we were so pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It might not look like much from the outside, but the interior is beautiful and you can see they’re keeping it very clean and taking care of the place. From the start, it was clear that the owner cares a great deal about the quality of their food. Even the chips and homemade salsa and bean dip were so good. My wife loves Mexican food more than any other kind and grew up with it and said this was about the best she’s had anywhere. I’m not as big a fan of Mexican food as her, but I was very happy with everything I ordered. The enchiladas, chile relleno , burrito, rice, beans were all great. Nice waitress, but somewhat inattentive, and I waited forever for a second beer that never arrived. Still, we’ll be back soon.
