Could not be more impressed. Service was impeccable and food was faultless. Every dish that we tried was thoroughly enjoyed by every member of our party. We had a variety of dishes; ranging from the vegetarian offerings to the meat and fish dishes. Highlights for us included the Blue Fin Tuna with Som Tam and the Huevos and black pudding. Unfortunately we aren't local but would be back as soon as possible if we were! Thank you Escala!

The food here exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully plated, absolutely delicious and good value considering the quality of the ingredients. We both agreed that the quality of the tapas dishes served to us were the best that either of us had been served in the UK. (The attached photos don’t do it justice…) The setting is gorgeous and the interior of the restaurant is tastefully decorated and reminiscent of Moorish Spain without being clichéd. The service was warm and friendly and the staff were attentive. We had a thoroughly relaxing evening and we’ll definitely be back - would highly recommend to anybody considering a visit to this little gem.

Absolutely delicious. Accommodated for 1 vegan on the group. Still plenty to share around. We managed to grab a table outside (we had pre-booked) and with such a beautiful evening were thrilled to be enjoying good food and company with the beautiful view. Lovely staff. Friendly and attentive. This is my 4th time here and it has never let me down.
