I’ve been twice now, and pleasantly surprised and pleased with this hidden gem. Each time had the personal pizza and hot sub sandwich. Excellent food and service. Especially liked the flavorful pizza crust and the bread used for the sub.

I love the personl size pizza, with 4 slices.. Tast good.. One day my crust was thinner than normal & there was 8 slices instead of 4.. I like my crust thick like me, so I'd always prefer the 4 thicker slices!

These guys have great food. I order pizza wings cheesecake sandwiches a lot as you can see I’m obese. Now I know Steve from Clayton, you’ve seen his other reviews, will complain about these guys not being open on Monday but the other 6 days they are and you can brighten up your day after work man.

BEST cheese pizza in the area! We get the 4 cheese with extra cheese lol its soo good we literally haven’t tried anything else in the past 3 or 4 years we’ve been coming here! Delivery is always quick! Highly recommend!

There are a lot of pizza places in this area. Many of them just under perform, they try to make a good pie but they fall short. However, Ray's hits that mark on all fronts! Some of the best hot wings in NC FOR REAL! The pie is perfect and that has so much to do with the dough. Their sauces are pretty legit when it comes to the standard sauce and even the garlic cream. All in all this will be my go to spot from here on out.
Great job Ray's. Keep up the good work!

Ray's Pizza is the best local pizzeria you'll find in Clayton. I've been a customer for over ten years, and to this day, I have yet to taste a better pizza than Ray's. They also offer sandwiches, hot or cold, pasta, and some great dessert options, my favorite being their zeppole. If you're in the Clayton area, whether visiting or a resident, order Ray's. You won't regret it.

Former New Yorker and this is the best pizza in the area. One of the best things about moving to Clayton. I remember when Ray just opened the place and I was one of the first customers, it's still amazing. Pizza thin, chewy and crispy all at the same time. Marinara on point. Wings (hot) were superb, but small. I blame that on the current global wing shortage.

Delivered Delicious. We tried Ray's for the first time at the request of my 6 year old. He says his bus passes by it and he wanted to try it. Sooooo good. We got a cheese/pepperoni pizza well done and a Greek calzone. Everything was delicious and delivery was fast. We will be coming back for more.

I happened by these folks 1 day while working on a home near there.
I am an avid pie lover, more over a thin, wet pie.. the perfect cheese and sauce takes it to the next level.
Being from New England, I am used to having a great pie around every corner, being here in the Carolinas it is hard to find 1 worthy of a second round. This is the 1 for me guys.
And the cats that work here are super friendly, ya can't beat it with a stick..

Their Philly Cheese steaks are among the best I've had in this area. The remainder of their menu, hot and cold subs, Stromboli, and Calzones, are also well worth ordering. They have pick-up and delivery as well as a few tables at their establishment.
