Canada Steak Burger

First and foremost, this place gave EXCELLENT service to my children. They asked the kids if they wanted a quarter for the gumball machine and gave it out from their own TIP jar. The food was Amazing and portions were very large! Great family meal.... Highly recommended for a family sit down dinner, even better as a take home order to relax and enjoy. Called a order in today 12-13-21 @ 1:27pm. Was told a 15 minute wait time. When I arrived and after paying $15.21 for my 8oz Deluxe combo order, the girl ask the guys cooking in the back for my order. They told her they had no phone order in. So I stood around waiting after I paid with another customer in the restaurant. After waiting another 10 minutes and hearing the girl say order 91 was up and I look at my receipt which said order 86 I was pretty much done. I didn't bother asking for my money back as I kept the soda I had in my hand. Pretty expensive soda for $15.00. I believe the manager was their cooking who cant seem to wear his hat backwards right as its always to the side of his head from previous visits. Don't worry about the $15.00. Maybe take that money and invest with better customer service in the future as the girl didn't apologize . Best of luck with your business. I wont be back.

The food here is SO delicious, however the last time we were here my girlfriend and I were sitting down inside, eating and talking, when all of a sudden she had a startled look on her face, and unfortunately I turn around to see the biggest cockroach I've ever seen in my entire life. A worker came by and casually swept him out and then closed the front door. It really, REALLY sucks because we loved this place, and unfortunately we won't be coming back after that. :(

This place was very disappointing. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and received a pastrami burger. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the service. The young lady got me a side of bacon for my burger, even the bacon was bad and tasted like char. The burger tasted completely of char and it was extremely dry. The gyro burger is what my partner got, she said the burger texture was that of emergency army rations, the gyro meat actually did have good flavor but there wasn't much of it so she ate that separately, the cheese was smaller than that of a Kraft single, about half the size. A hard pass on this place. I'll drive to La Mesa and go to Gus's from now on.
