I hired Maw Cafe through their private hire facilities for my 50th afternoon brunch birthday celebrations. The girls were amazing with all communication leading up to the event, the food, atmosphere and the service was a 10/10. I wouldn’t hesitate in using their private hire facilities again in the future and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Keep up the good work girls and I look forward to coming back to the cafe for a breakfast or lunch!

What a fantastic place for a brunch/lunch! Super friendly staff, helpful and accommodating with allergy. Food delicious, so fresh and tasty. Everything was well presented. Had the best time and would seriously recommend. No photos of food, but we thoroughly enjoyed creamy mushrooms on toast and generous pancakes. Excellent!

MAW just started their early evening menu and I had to try it! I had one on their new stone baked pizza to eat in, I went for the Meat Eater but I was tempted by the 'Under the Sea' pizza with king prawns and chilli, (will have this next time) I can tell you it was absolutely sensational, fresh and truly delicious, I also enjoyed 2-1 cocktails and a cheeky beer to wash it all down! Amazing staff, super attentive, lovely atmosphere and great food! What more can you ask for?! Will be booking another table soon, cant wait to visit again! Thank you MAW

What a wonderful place! We’ve had breakfast at Maw twice in a row whilst on our Christchurch trip, and would happily go again. The coffee is great, food is delicious and service is friendly. The restaurant also allows dogs which is a huge bonus for us. The pancakes are divine and would highly recommend the Biscoff ones. Definitely worth a visit!

This is such a fantastic little find in Christchurch. The decor drew us in and the menu and quality of food has made us come back again and again. As a vegetarian, the menu has SO many options!! I’ve been 3 times now and order something different each time, everything has been delicious!!! It’s such a lovely atmosphere with the most friendly and welcoming staff as well as beautiful decor. Can’t wait to come back again and again and again.
