Distilled Chicago

Great chill spot. Good place to stop for food and drinks right before the movies ☺️ Webster theater is just across the street. I had Bourbon BBQ wings and curly fries, delicious! I heard the burgers were great too but didn't get to try it. Next time! Outside patio and a dog friendly spot that has treats and a water bowl.

I used to love this place and their awesome tacos and margaritas. That is, until this week when I tried to order their tacos and was told by the blonde bartender/waitress in a hoodie that the tacos were terrible. As she said, "We have Mexicans working in the kitchen and the tacos aren't even good! Like, why are you even here?!" No thanks.

Common theme in these reviews that the drinks/bartender are good and the food/service is to be avoided. Ordered delivery and only after waiting until my order was being picked up did Distilled decide to tell us that “they couldn’t find the chef” and could not make the food. Seems like management and service here has gone under

Quite a few issues here: 1. They were literally out of so many things: no wings, a certain martini, the IPA i ordered, veggie patties...that’s just from our table and the one next to us 2. We (and tables around us) continuously ordered things then the server came back “oh, we are out of...” Servers should know what is in and out. #1 wouldn’t have been listed if they would have known vs telling us 5 min after we ordered 3. Due to the above, our food came out 10 minutes apart 4. Our server had no sense of urgency or knowledge of what was going on. 5. The fries DO NOT look like they do on the menu. Fries looked and tasted like McDonald’s fries. The burger I had wasn’t bad, terrible experience though. I’d recommend staying away.

Only ended up here on a date, but it was certainly pleasant. The view of the River is nice with the new CH Robinson headquarters. Had a nice American Pale Ale while my date had a delicious espresso nitro stout. A great place for a quick drink or just to catch up with an old friend. Definitely a good place to check out.
