While in Chicago on vacation we had an excellent breakfast at the Yolk test kitchen. We ate a vegetarian burrito and a veggie omelette, both delicious. The staff are super friendly. I would definitely go back for more!!!

This was our first time hearing about and going to the Yolk Test Kitchen and we’ll definitely be back. This is where they test out new menu items before they go to their regular restaurants. Dope concept, good food and great staff.

This is my first time at the “Test Kitchen” location and in my opinion I liked them better than the standard locations because it really show cases their menu and let’s them get away from the traditional menu items.

The food is very rich, all the dishes we ate are delicious, the only bad thing is that they do not have the entire menu and I changed my initial dish for another, but it was good 🥐🥯🍔🧇🥚🍳

The best Yolk location without question! Food was fresh,served hot and was amazing! This location has menu has items not found at other Yolk restaurants and there is also a coffee bar here if you aren't eating in. Jenna was our server and she was super friendly and attentive. $50 for 2 people which included speciality coffees and was worth every penny although I would not recommend the horchata cold brew, the combined flavors did not come through so well.

Interesting menu, off the beaten path. Certainly if you are adventurous the menu here might tickle your fancy. We got things there were a miss for us, but maybe you'll have better luck!

I don't know if I was just really or hungry if I'm actually NOT exaggerating, but this was the best breakfast ever. Whatever they do to their eggs is magical. Didn't know you could make scrambled eggs better than usual. They use real Vermont maple syrup that is divine. The service was extremely awesome also. My server was Jenna and she was very pleasant.

I absolutely love this Yolk. I actually even prefer their waffles compared to the others. I will definitely be back to try the mini donuts and scotch egg...
