I have visited this pub by a recommendation. I stayed at a hotel near by and was looking for a nice place to eat. The pub was not too busy and my food was served piping hot and on time. Staff was very polite. I would definitely visit again.

We’ve been local to the griffin for most of my life, had my 21st there in 2016 and again had my 30th here yesterday. The service from the staff was impeccable, couldn’t do enough to help accommodate us and really went above and beyond to make it a lovely day for me! Thank you so much :)
