Subway

This is my FAVORITE subway! They are always clean and they run the place like a top. Before COVID I would stop in after the going to the Y and get either a veggie delite sub or a veggie pattie sub - they always had the patty out and didn't have to defrost it (thereby making me wait.) You never have to wait long and they often remember my order which I get the same thing almost every single time I go. The people who run the store are always polite and very conscientious. So in conclusion in the town of Charlottesville, the McIntire location is the best IMHO. I have eaten at nearly all of the Subway's in Charlottesville: including Rio Hill Shopping Center location (thumbs up) and Pantops (thumbs down there) and the one that was at the Exxon on gasoline alley that shut down during COVID and hasn't reopened yet and doesn't appear to planning to. Lesson: eat at McIntire location and you can't go wrong.

I work on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville. Some of the restaurants on or near the mall are either too expensive or too time consuming for a quick lunch. So the few places to get a quick decently priced lunch are far and few between. This Subway is a quick 5 minute walk from work for me and I have had nothing but good experiences at this location. The staff is always friendly and plesent. And the food is always fresh and fantastic. I've been to other Subway locations and actually had to stop the employee from putting what looked like very nasty lettuce or tomato or whatever on my sandwich. I'm thinking to myself "do you not see how not fresh those veggies are?!" But that has never happened at this place. I've got nothing but the highest praises for this Subway.

After reading about what they produce in their food it's not that natural be very cautious and when you buy lunch meat today I will say that all the Subways in Charlottesville need to be a little more cleaner especially their bathrooms they need to keep food from being mixed in with the trays they need to improve in cleanliness because the last time I was at a subway there is a roach running across the table
