J-petal

Came here on a whim because I simply adore crepes, and was very happy we did! My husband got the Berry Twist (left with all the strawberries), and I got the Fruit Island (right, with the ice cream). The crepes are served beautifully, and they taste great too! It is all rice flour, apparently, so 100% gluten free, but I honestly could not tell the difference in the crepe itself, which tasted just like normal crepes made with flour, and were very soft and pliable (if you like the crispy crepes, you might not enjoy these as much). The custard is surprisingly good, and the fruit is very fresh. The flavors blend surprisingly well together - I was skeptical about the almonds, but I really liked both crepes! The interior is quite clean and modern, with a good amount of seating. The staff are nice and were helpful in making recommendations for what we might like. They also serve rolled ice cream and drinks in light bulbs, so it's a bit of a novelty food store. The only thing we did laugh about was that there didn't seem to be a straightforward way to eat the rolled crepes (I ended up making quite a mess because I was trying to save my ice cream towards the end and ate the crepe from the bottom up, which is probably not how you're supposed to do it) but it didn't take away from the tastiness. If you come with children though, they might get messy.

Go to J-Petal!! This place is amazing!! Friendly little sit in area. We went for there dessert but ended up with one ice cream and 3 drinks! The Green Hulk is ice cream mixed with an oreo and half a banana. They chop the ice cream up and roll it up right in front of you. Delicious!! And the Taro Lover drink is soooo good!! Definitely a place to check out!!

We got taro and matcha flavored bubble teas, and they were pretty good. They weren't powdery, and the flavors were noticeable enough that it didn't just taste like water or milk. I think the cups were the most interesting part; sturdy plastic cups with a lid that includes both a straw slot and an open sipping part. Next time we'll try the crepes or rolled ice crean

I've only been a couple of times, and had bubble tea, and thai ice cream. Both were really good. I want to try other menu items whenever I'm in the center. I hope the business makes it - I love having such variety. Customer service has been very nice and patient - I had lots of questions since this type of treats is still new to me. I like that you can get the drinks made with whatever level of sweetness you want. I'm a BIG fan of scooped ice cream, but this rolled ice cream is wonderful, interesting, fun and yummy. It does take a little more time, so just don't be in a rush.

Loved the matcha valentine crepe. It had a flavorful matcha ice cream and some sweet but not overpowering strawberries and banana slices in a fluffy and light crepe. The whole package was presented in a super clean cone, and the restaurant has a great modern ambiance, with all white decor. Nice place to get dessert after a meal.
