Waffle House

Although the bathroom was not bad, I did not like the waffles. The place is called waffle house, which makes sense because it's literally all they serve that's good, but it also doesn't make sense because their waffles are bad. They are thin eggo-like waffles. I could make what they serve in a microwave if i wanted to. They should have way more options and fluffy waffles. No variety, limited menu.

Waffle House breakfast is always a treat Doesn't matter which restaurant you go to, the coffee is always excellent. The cheese n' eggs combo is not as big as it used to be, no more grits or raisin toast, but it is just as tasty. The hash browns, smothered, covered and chunked are the best you will ever eat. Waffle House has been a personal breakfast favorite for years.

Sad, upset, and utterly devastated with the decision to permanently close this Waffle House. The staff knew my order… Good times were had. Just like that it has been taken from us… Too soon, too soon. I am taking a moment not to grieve what we have lost, but celebrate what we had. I loved this place, I really did. You will be missed. Rest easy. Do all waffles houses go to heaven? I’m a firm believer they do.

CLEAN....Quick service, rarely full when I visit. Great job keeping place clean. EASY access on & off I-64. PASS up that high priced coffee shop and sit down with a coffee and eggs. ONLY 1 building further up street. I do KETO, so mine is 3egg&large bacon(5pcs) ...BUT the waffles look great. Have to sneak one in once I hit goal weight...SOON.

Waffle house is greesy dirty and Staff are not that friendly. The serving of the food was not very nice and it seems the staff had enough for the day. No friendly smile and laid back approach to dining. The tables were cleaned only with water rather than a clean cloth. It is a shame really as waffle house has such a history, yet this place looks really run down. It is next to the new 5th street station, so there is no excuse to say it is in a poor neighbourhood. A decent manager is badly needed to bring the place up to scratch. Even the waffle wasn't placed good not was it goofed properly. Very disappointed by that.

I've been to many a Waffle House. Their menu has a nice selection of comfort food. I usually eat of the breakfast menu. I love the hash brown bowls. This was the first time eating at this location. The food was really good. My 5 star rating was aimed at the service. Every Waffle House I have ever eaten at has had lack luster servers. This location I was blown away. As my husband and I entered we got a hearty "Welcome to Waffle House!" Our server Cindy was amazing. Every server came by at least once to say hi and ask if we had everything we needed. We were there after the breakfast rush so there were few guests. The staff was singing to the juke box and bantering back and forth with each other. It made for a very happy festive atmosphere. If I lived in Charlottesville this would be my favorite breakfast spot. I usually take photos of the food when rating a restaurant but it was the staff that made my day so I asked if I could take a picture and Cindy rousted up the whole staff. Thank you guys for giving us a great eating experience!
