Firehouse Subs

Great quality sandwiches! Love it here, so glad I finally decided to try it within the last year. I'm OBSESSED with the Cajun mayo, it's AMAZING def recommend y'all trying it. Sandwiches always made on time if you mobile order. Staff is always friendly and nice. So far all my sandwiches have been made correctly.

Things were hopping at this Firehouse Subs in Charlottesville, VA today (13 June, 2021) when I stopped by for lunch. Even though this location was offering customers the option to dine-in, I opted to get my order to go and sit in the parking lot simply because of the number of customers that were arriving and the limited number of tables available inside. I went with my 'go to' sammich today, the Italian Sub "fully involved" and add banana peppers, plus an ice cold Coca-Cola and bag of chips. The sub was made perfectly and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I went with Lays Kettle Cooked Jalapeno Cheddar chips today and they were a pleasant addition to the sub. They're not hot by any standards, but have a little background flavor of jalapeno behind the predominant cheddar flavor. They are definitely worth a try and I'll be looking for them again. Nice job today.

Easy spot along 29 South to grab a meal. The online ordering app is easy to use and I can walk in and pick my order up from the to go shelf. A regular sub is very filling (especially with the dill pickle spear) so I rarely opt for chips, although my husband does add chips to his order. My go to is the Italian on wheat without deli mustard and onions. I've found that the deli mustard overpowers the Italian dressing and seasoning. My carry out orders have always been accurate to date.

Every single time I come in there joe acts as if I’m invisible. I understand I’m black and that bothers him but he has a job to do. I haveant felt welcomed ever in that store. Maybe he’s having a few bad days in a row but that’s not my problem. No wonder I hear bad things and none of my black friends reply ear here. Sad.
