Canton House

My family and I have been going here on special occasions since I was a kid. This spot has been the staple for many Chinese/Viet families for New Years, Thanksgiving, and whatever suits their fancy. One of the best places to get a full course Dim Sum meal for the first time. I definitely recommend trying all the awesome dishes prepared which are fresh and flavorful. They bring everything out on steaming carts and no matter what you try, you are bound to find something you enjoy. It’s truly an experience for a large family or friend gathering. I will never stop coming here as long as the doors are still open. My word of advice: don’t fill up on rice and soup too much before you get to try everything on the menu!

After so many years, this is still our favorite Dim Sum spot. Since other Restaurants are opening up around Duluth area, I just go to the closer ones out of convenience but I have almost forgotten why I love Canton House so much. Decided to drive just a bit more so I can satisfy my cravings and it did not disappoint.

Just okay. Came here for the Dim Sum. The food was luke warm/ almost cold when it got to the table. Usually dim sum is hot enough to burn your mouth if you eat it too quickly. I enjoyed sticky rice but my husband was not happy with his food. The service was great but wish the food would have met my expectations.

Arrived around 1 on a Saturday afternoon. Food was fresh and tasty. We were greeted and sat right away. Cart pushers were friendly and great at explaining foods I didn't recognize. Service was impeccable. A lady, who was clearly on top of everything, brought over all items I wanted right before I even had to ask - water, utensils, napkins, hot chili oil, etc. A nice young man even came over as we were leaving to check us out sooner so we wouldn't have to wait any longer, even though there was only one person ahead of us. Highly recommend. This is my new go to spot for dim sum.
