Third Place

Third place, last choice. This pizza is not good. We've tried it three times now. Extremely skimpy on toppings and sauce. Crust is so thin, the pizza box has more body to it. Cheese has a gross aftertaste. Gave us the wrong pizza last time, but offered to remake it. Instead, when we picked it up, it was the old pizza that had been sitting there, lukewarm, and nasty. I think we're gonna move on.

Clean establishment in a convenient location for Castleton University students. The pizza was excellent, although rather greasy. My party got a large Vermonter pizza to try, which was very flavorful and delicious, until I noticed a pool of grease forming on my plate. Pizza aside, we got a side of fries which arrived very late, and we're very over cooked and cold. I realize a pizza place shouldn't be known for their fries, but these were downright disappointing. Lastly, the service was also pretty weak, as our waitress didn't bring us plates, napkins, or silverware for our food, and never checked in with us except to pick up the check. Everything considered, the only reason I could recommend this restaurant is for the expansive pizza menu. I'm in no rush to return.

We needed a dinner stop in the area and found a crowd here, so we decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed - the pizza was tasty, fries were great, and the tap selection had something for each of us. Hard to have a conversation, but that's to be expected. They claim to have the dankest slice around - your mileage may vary on that one.
