Firehouse Subs

Got the Jamaican jerked turkey sub was $11 for the meal with a medium drink and chips. The food was good but this location doesn't support veterans no free drink and chips with purchase like offered at every other location in the state offers and trust me I asked and had my valid ID as an Army veteran ready to show but the kid who rang me up was nice told me with no hesitation while the owner was listening. Then I'm asked if I want to round up my total to help support our local heroes?

This is possibly the most disorganized Firehouse. We placed an online order today for pick up. And for the third time they forgot something, this time it was two bags of chips and the extra pickles. Now, I'm not sure if there is a charge for the extra pickles, but there definitely is for the chips. I called the restaurant, and the young man's response was, "Well, you are welcome to drive back and pick up the chips". Except by then I would lose the time I have allotted to actually eat my lunch, and I waste the gas and time needed to go get the pickles. When I point this out to him his response is, "That is true, that is true, is there anything else I can get for you?" Yes, kiddo, how about some halfway decent customer service? How about, "Hey, we're so sorry that happened, the next time you order I will take $5 off to cover the cost of the missing items and I will make sure I pack your order myself. I will also talk to the guys on the line and make sure they are double checking the orders they fill". Thanks a lot Firehouse, you could do yourself a favor and maybe ask some behavioral questions when hiring, and possibly develop a training plan for your employees.

I'm not a sub person because I dont like a lot of bread, but their bread was good. It was toasted but not crunchy and it was buttered. I got the steak and cheese sub. Their Come Freestyle Machine was my favorite part. Had they not been beside an ice cream parlor, I would have indulged in one (or two) of their tasty looking desserts.
