Rooted Drifter

We came here one night to watch some football. I was very impressed at how clean the bar was. There was no stale beer smell that you usually smell in local bars. Mandy the bartender was a ball of energy with an infectious smile and personality. She seemed to know everyone that came in. We ordered wings and the cauliflower appetizer. Both plates were super sized and delicious. Our food was served fast and hot. I believe this will become one of our favorite local hangouts in the future. My only negative thing I have to say about this place is that we can't connect to the wi-if.

This place is my favorite of all Jefferson county, nice atmosphere, very clean, and now with a welcoming new staff! The bathrooms are always clean which is a plus for me, the food selection is great!!! The hot wings with the creeper sauce are the bomb! This has a family atmosphere in the late afternoon and great music and people in the evening. I feel very welcome and very safe going there my Husband loves the live bands! Shout out to Hanna, Jess, Nelly, and Ofcourse Shane ! Thank you for making this my home away from home!

Nice staff, but a little unclear. Two of our party ordered sides of maple fries (which are super yummy-- a must-try if you go) and got charged for the appetizer size instead (a $4.50 difference!) They also brought out the wrong entree for one of us (but did let us keep it gratis), and they wouldn't let our party of 5 do separate checks, so we had to work out payment on our own. Also not a Keto friendly menu. The house wings were good though, with a nice kick.

Best food around. Seriously. They have local meat in the burgers. I always get the maple bacon burger. They have a lot of different craft beers for every different kind of beer lover. Outdoor dining/drinking area is really nice. They even have some fireplaces outside so you can enjoy some warmth on a cold night. Great to sit around with friends and enjoy a beer. Don't have any friends? Enjoy the beer then!

I've been to a lot of bars. The Rooted Drifter is by far my favorite. Its brand new on the inside. There is a pool table, a dart board and a digital jukebox(that is very up to date, it had every song I wanted). The bar tender provided great service. She opened my tab up and I didn't even have to give her a credit card. She gave me fresh beers before I was even finished with my first one! Awesome! She also wasn't greedy. I loved the food. I ordered bone in wings with house sauce. At one point I had to leave to get rolling papers, i left a stack of cash on the bar and told the bar tender I would be back. She held on to it for me. When I came back, she gave it to me, I counted it and I was $4 short which i was very pleased with because at this point I had 4 beers and 3 mixers and I hadnt tipped her yet. So overall, THE ROOTED DRIFTER IS AN AWESOME BAR!
