We have eaten here a few times. It is an hour away from home.
The staff are super nice. The fish/shrimp is excellent, the portion size is large, and the price is on point.
We will definitely be back. It's a good ride to destination for lunch.

Place doesn't look like much on the inside or outside but it's food is what speaks loud and clear...delicious seafood combo at a reasonable price. Sufficient portion, appealing and the largest piece of flounder I've had in central North Carolina.

Can't be beat in the area.
About 6 miles west of Carthage right on the highway 24-27.
A very popular place for breakfast and lunch.
Home made biscuits with sausage gravy, biscuit sandwiches or their lunch specials can't be beat.
I have been there several times when in the area and have never been disappointed with the portions, price or service.
Very friendly folks and worth the stop.
In on a Thursday at 5 for their catfish dinner.
The place was jammed.
Heard it was really good.
ORDERED:
Large catfish plate with onion rings, hushpuppies &
coleslaw. $11.00 Very Good

This is the kind of place you almost want to keep a secret because it's so good! My friend and I both had the seafood platter and it was so fresh,so plentiful, I couldn't believe it. It isn't a chain, it's the real thing, a mom and pop restaurant evident by the homey decor and local clientele. The next table ordered cheeseburger platters and they looked good too. I will also be checking out the home made desserts next time. Service came with a smile and the place wasn't luxurious, but it was clean and cozy, with great prices.
