Tokyo Express

I recently ordered take out, and was told my hibachi meal and 2 sushi rolls would be ready in about 15-20 minutes when I called. I waited 25 minutes to go in, and when I got there my hibachi meal was ready but the sushi was not. I waited another 25 minutes on my sushi! When I got home, both sushi rolls were crammed into one container, and had about 5 pieces each-they were TINY and the hibachi meal was a very small portion as well. Not cool! Definitely overpriced for what we received.

As much as I love the food here I can't bring myself to recommend it anymore. The prices have gone up and the portion sizes have shrunk. The last time I took a friend here the sight of the check made me almost choke on my food. We ordered 2 small sushi rolls and it was like I was paying for 4 hibachi dinners! And while this may not currently be an issue, at the time their new payment system was broken and I didn't have cash on me. It took a good 20 or so minutes for the servers to finally be okay with using a different functional card swiper. Relocate to an area with lower rent and offer more seating. Don't get me wrong, I love the small and private atmosphere, but if it's going to continue to contribute to a rise in prices then we can do without it.

The best thing about lunch here was our waitress. She was delightfu but the floor was sticky the tables had a film on them and all of our plates and cups were chipped. The sushi was just ok. The "house soup" was literally a beef cube dissolved in a bowl of water and the salad was just lettuce with watered down dressing on it. I hate leaving bad reviews but it was obvious this place is cutting corners in a terrible way. Definitely a very disappointing 50 dollar lunch.

This is my favorite sushi in Carrollton, however a friend and I went in an hour before they closed one evening and they turned us away because they said they were closing early, which is fine. I understand that, but I have also tried calling in for to go orders THREE different times and no one answers the phone. The level of service just isn't up to par in my opinion and it's making me not want to eat there at all anymore. This has been my go to sushi place for the last 2 and a half years, so this is really disappointing.

TERRIBLE! We had two hibachi dinners, one chicken one shrimp. Both proteins were way overdone, the rice was extremely oily, and the vegetables were gross. We sent the plates back only to get it back worse than before. We also ordered a ramen bowl. Do yourself a favor and eat the $1 microwave ramen. Our waitress was kind and her service was great! 😊

This place was nothing but a huge disappointment. I work at Southwire and ordered from here. First off, i got sushi, only to be told they ran out of rice. So all i got was the meat wrapped in seaweed basically. Then i say that i wanted no veggies in my rice, it came with onions.... gross. And the rice itself was mad nasty. The chicken, steak, and shrimp were ok.... definitely tasted better. Really isn't worth going unless you're trying something different.

I ordered 2 19.00 dollar plates and it was the worse food I ever got delivered. 1st there was very little food for the $50.00 dollars I paid. The salad was just brown lettuce the steak was over cooked and the fried rice I bad extra for mas mushy. I will never order from them again. Be careful when you order because you will be paying for a lot more then they give you.
