Indian dude has terrible attitude and no interest in serving customers. Handles toppings without gloves, and then proceeds to refuse making sub. Toppings just got thrown around the counter. Hope the owner is actually checking the reviews. Wonder how such a terrible staff continues to work there.
He seems to be the only person working there. Probably getting paid quite well with all the shifts he is holding. Therefore seems highly uninterested in providing the best to all customers. The lack of a manager or supervisor allows much slack to happen. Unbeknowned to the owners of this franchise, this employee has actually cost them more in revenue than the savings in cost of salary. Such a prime location usually attracts a large crowd, especially when it is right in front of 2 bus stops and smack in the middle of a busy intersection.

The subs are good and the staff are mostly friendly. I've had good experiences going in late and them still having fresh bread and ingredients. They venue itself is also kept clean, so eating in is a nice experience as well.

We went to this store today around 7 pm with group of people and we received worst ever customer service in our life from the Indian guy. He is not even making an eye contact with us and throughing food in basket in front of us and wasn't listening us properly with rude attitude.
Will never ever visit this store again. Not recommend as last option even .

Twice I've been in, second time to see if the 1st experience was a once off. Team do NOT wash their hands. Use of the register while wearing gloves. Never engage eye contact. They seemed more interested in getting back to continue the phone call on their phones.its a shame ive had 2 very similiar experiences at this franchisr. Its a shame as i love subway

Staff doesn't know how to talk to customers. Charged me $5 extra when i asked them to cut footlong into 2 and pack it separately. Didn't even inform me while charging extra. Used fingers to push stuff in while rapping sandwich. Poor experience.

Worst experience ever with the staff. The Indian guy is shaming all Indians with his don’t care attitude. He serves as if he is doing a favor. He was on phone when I came in and he made me wait till he finished without even greeting. He never used gloves while making my salad!

Worst Subway restaurant. Incompetent staff charged me incorrectly, he said the transaction will be cancelled, then asked me to pay again. However, the first transaction doesn't get canceled when I checked bank statement two weeks later. When I bring this issue to them, they refuse to give me refund or any compensation.

I have been going here now for years but every time I go their quantity of things to put in the sub are decreasing. Today I ordered veggie delight and i could count the number of lettuce, onions and capsicum that he put. Capsicums and cucumber are not fresh at all. The guys are also not welcoming amd they do not have a culture of welcoming visitors too. I rarely see this in any other subway across Victoria. The worst experience I have had in subway ever is here at Carnegie.
