Port Hacking Seafood

Firstly food was good. No problems there. Went for the $26 - 2 piece fish meal deal. Was charged $28.50. When questioned the owner(?) said that the price was changed in the computer system but they couldn’t work out how to change the wall board and that they couldn’t charge $26 as the computer wouldn’t allow it. I asked if they could throw in a couple of scallops but that was too hard as well. The attitude was like we’ll take it or leave it. Thanks but I’ll be leaving it from now on.

First, this place used to be the best in the shire for fish and chips, we’ve been regulars for over 20 years. Secondly, the chips were very good. BUT last nights serve was the WORST I’ve ever had anywhere. All the rest were so oily we had to keep wiping the grease off our fingers after touching them. The fish and the potato scallops were so greasy, at one stage I pressed a finger into the surface and a pool of oil appeared. Not even the pets would eat it! The fish had a spongy texture and was inedible. I managed half a piece and have had the trots all night. NEVER AGAIN! Btw the owner suggested I had the wrong business. If your business is next to a chemist shop and the Caltex servo, I most certainly did not have the wrong business. Still WORST seafood ever!

WAS best seafood. Tonight ordered grilled fish & small chips. $13.10, 5minute drive home. Fish cold & chips a mix of piping hot & stone cold. SO disappointed. ???? New owners as none of the staff looked familiar. It is my regular for fish & chips but not anymore. Very disappointing. The meal ended up in the bin as it wasn't tasty And it wasn't crazy busy which could have explained the long wait Ggggrrrrrrrrr
