I came for brunch with a friend. It wasn't as busy as other local cafes, however, the food and drinks were lovely. The prices felt competitive when checking out the other menus nearby too, considering it had a more upmarket feel and hot food compared to some of the other options. The staff were both friendly, my friend's latte was missed off the bill, when I pointed this out the manager was kind enough to say it was on them. Excellent customer service. Would recommend food and service. They have a small courtyard upstairs which I can imagine would be enjoyable on a sunny day.

Amazing. Super friendly staff. Restaurant very clean, nicely decorated, somewhat understated - and here comes the food. Absolutely delightful. Great selection and value for the set menu. Staff very attentive, super fast service and very supportive to parents with young children in particular. We had a fantastic time and my son loved all of his food and ours too - there is no better testimony than this. The sticky toffee pudding is out of this world, as is ox ragu tagliatelle. We loved it so much we will definitely return, a gem of a place for Cardiff. Well done Porro, keep up the great work!

15th Dec First time visit to this excellent restaurant, good choice on lunch menu - we had arancini and whitebait to start, sea bream and ravioli for main with chunkiest chips I've ever seen, warm olive ciabatta..then to finish off some gorgeous tiramisu - acceptable no rush time between courses, I certainly will be returning!

Family of 7 enjoyed a really lovely Sunday lunch for father's day. Freshly cooked, good quality with a good choice of vegetables. Desserts were small. Service relaxed. Will return..... Did return for a Saturday lunch with friends. Really good food and value. Relaxed staff who were friendly and let us chat after our meal.

I hadn’t been to Porto for a while, I forgot just how nice it is after today’s lunch. We had the two-course lunch menu for a reasonable £18.95. The pizza florentina with leek, spinach and smoked cheese was lovely as was the sticky toffee pudding. We sat upstairs which I liked as it’s a bit quieter than downstairs and bright and airy. The service was friendly and helpful. Baby changing’s available in the disabled toilet downstairs, at the back of the restaurant.
