Bob Evans

The pancakes in Bob Evans taste like they were made from scratch. The blueberries were cooked into the pancake. Which gave the pancake a moist and fluffy texture. The staff is friendly. And the service was fast and accurate. The coffee was too strong for my taste. But if you like strong coffee; you would probably like Bob Evans coffee. Also, the over easy eggs were cooked perfectly and my bacon was well done, like I like it.

I'm giving 2 stars because service was good, wait time wasn't long, restaurant was clean, and prices were decent. BUT the taste of the Food was horrible and undercooked. I was really excited because it looked delicious and it tasted bad. I don't think it was the cook himself I think it was the Bob Evan's product itself besides the slightly undercooked sausage links. The sausage patties had a nasty aftertaste, the pancakes were looked light and fluffy but tasted mushy. I thought maybe the Banana Nut Bread might be good since it was prepackaged but No it was disappointing. I can make Banana Bread from a box better than it tasted. The iced tea was the best thing there.

Stopped in for breakfast, there was about a 15 minute wait due to a large amount of customers. They called us in right on time. The restaurant was very warm due to the air conditioner being broken; the server said it had been broken for 2 weeks. It took longer than normal for a server to come to our table to get drinks. When the food came, the food was good. Our server was good. I've been here before and it's always no issues. I think today was out of the norm.

Sunday brunch (4th of July weekend). It was very busy, 1 hour wait. Put my name down went outside the building to wait (no buzzer given). Went back inside (45 minutes later)to check on seating status... was marked as a No Show. After explaining we were waiting outside (due to no seating inside) and no one came outside to call us. The Hostess spoke with the manager and we were seated within 10 minutes. Great service by Sandra and food was good. Thank you for accommodating my party of 4.

I ordered breakfast for lunch. All was great! The waitress was very nice and kind and perfectly, not overly, attentive. It was a nice quick meal for me, which was just what I needed, since I was on a tight schedule the day I was there. And the meal was filling, thankfully, as it was the only I'd have that day.
