Thurston’s Cafe

Thurston's is a very enjoyable and appealing little cafe hidden away downtown. If you have not been, it should be on your "must go to" list. It has a wonderfully warm feel to it and their food and service are great! Unlike many places, they know what works well together and it's a safe bet to allow them to select for you, if you're not sure what's good. I really enjoyed their Blackstone's Roast Beef Panini without caramelized onions (less sweet). Also excellent is their New England Clam Chowder and pasta salad. They are only open 10-2 Mon-Thu, but the experience is definitely worth it in my opinion. Enjoy!

Welcome to a very down home diner. The menu wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but the food was way more than I expected! My husband and I shared our lunches so we could both try our top two choices. Dante’s panini (which we only got a half and it was plenty for the two of us to share) was phenomenal and the ruben was exceptional! We both had the portobello mushroom bisque….seriously delicious! Now let’s discuss the customer service. Top notch! The two lovely ladies welcomed us like we were old friends and visited with us about our travels. If we are ever in the are we’ll be sure to stop back! Thank you for a great lunch!
