Guthrie's

Went thru after work, and hear them over the speaker saying they were closed and not to take it.. then heard another person (manager maybe) say they were still open and to take my order…? Ordered a 4 piece with a drink.. and then they told me they could give me the chicken but not the drink because they already broke it down for the night? 50 minutes before they close? Just seems a little lazy and ridiculous.. Then i get home and could tell they re-dropped my chicken and fries and bread because it was sooooooo greasy it tasted like i was eating pure vegetable oil. Quality matters, just saying. Canes is better anyway.

Two stars because I ordered two boxes on the phone with actual employee. Deal was, I order on phone then pick up in drive thru. I ordered two extra tenders per box. I go to pick up food. Return home and find that I paid for four extra tenders and they weren't freakin in the boxes. Here's the best part. I call back three times and each time a different thing happens but the same result, I get disconnected. They recognized my number and didn't answer my call. No question. There were three different call I made and each mysteriously gets cut off in different ways. First one, call is answered then hung up, could hear background noise from restaurant. Second call I hear something like a fax machine. Third call, same as first. I didn't have that problem when I called and ordered. Definitely some shenanigans going on. Get yer mind right G.

We were sick of the same ol restaurants in our area, so we drove to Burlington and decided to pick up Guthrie’s while we were there. First time to ever order Guthrie’s and it did not disappoint! The chicken strips are very flavorful, not bland like a lot of other restaurants chicken strips. The cole slaw was delicious as well as the Texas toast. And the Guthries sauce, soooo good! I’m glad we got burnt out on our local restaurants and drove the few miles to Burlington, bc we will definitely be back soon to order more Guthries! And the staff was very patient and friendly. Fast, friendly service and amazing food. Can’t go wrong!
